I used to host my websites with free webhosts their service is not reliable and speed of website was so slow and finally I decided to go for paid hosting. For you, don’t make mistake like me. I advise to go for paid hosting.
I am currently hosting my websites with bluehost and I am happy with their customer support, reliability and also the speed of my websites.

You will have a hard time looking for a provider that will give you trial domain name and hosting.
anyway, I suggest that you look for a provider that offers money-back guarantee, so that you can have your money again in case you become dissatisfied with their service.
I suggest you check My Webbie Hosting. They offer very affordable plans, but the service is very superb. They also offer 30-day money back guarantee.
You can also check their control panel demo.

ICANN have recently stopped domain tasting, so no sane hosting provider is going to pay for a .com for you to try and reject.
