Basically i want to pay for the bandwith my site uses. I looked into Amazon cloud computing. But could not figure out how to host a Tomcat application in there. Any suggestions ? thanks

They plans start from $20/month, and since it’s a VPS hosting you can install whatever you want.
They have a lot of plans, so you can easily upgrade, and since they were recently acquired by Rackspace they’ll probably make it very easy to switch to their dedicated hosting later on.

At Wefaction, they give you a full linux shell account with all the tools you need to compile anything you like – so your Tomcat application probably would not be a problem. If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months’ time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.
