These are instructions for installing the open source Magento eCommerce System on Host service provider — Hostmonster.com account.

Download the full installation file package from http://www.magentocommerce.com/download
Unzip or Unpackage the the tar or zip file
Upload the contents of your Magento folder to your directory of choice via FTP
Login to your Hostmonster Cpanel and click on the MySQL Databases button on the mainpage of your cpanel
Create a new database
Now create a new user
Now attach the user and the database you just created together
